Mimi Lash & Brow Booking Policy

Thank you for choosing Mimi Lash & Brow. Please review the following terms before booking so you understand how deposits, appointment changes, and payments work for your treatment.

Securing your appointment

A deposit is needed to reserve your appointment. Your booking is confirmed once we receive the required payment.

For semi-permanent cosmetic eyebrow tattoo treatments, the booking deposit is $100.

For other services, including eyelash extensions, full sets, infills, waxing, and tinting, the deposit varies by service. Different lash styles, appointment lengths, and treatment types may require different amounts. We will confirm the deposit applicable to your appointment when you book.

Your deposit forms part of the treatment price. Any outstanding amount is due on the day of your appointment.

Where these terms refer to a replacement or new deposit, this means the amount applicable to the service being booked.

Securing your appointment

We accept bank transfers, Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, PayPal, and cash. If you need payment details, please contact us.

Mimi Lash & Brow does not retain your credit card details.

If a card surcharge applies, you will be advised before paying. The surcharge will be limited to the reasonable cost of processing that payment.

Cosmetic eyebrow tattoo appointments

Arriving for your treatment

Please arrive on time so we have enough time for your consultation, brow mapping, and tattoo procedure.

Arriving more than 20 minutes after your scheduled start time may leave insufficient time to complete your treatment safely without delaying subsequent appointments. We may therefore need to move your booking to another date and retain the deposit for the time reserved.

We will try to accommodate delays where our schedule allows, although we cannot promise that a late appointment can proceed.

If this is your first visit, please allow time to complete your consultation and consent paperwork before the treatment starts.

Moving your booking

Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.

With the required notice, we may move your existing deposit to a replacement appointment once. Further changes may require another deposit.

For changes requested with less than 48 hours’ notice, we may retain the original deposit and require a new $100 deposit before confirming a replacement cosmetic tattoo appointment.

We may make exceptions for genuine emergencies, serious illness or other exceptional circumstances, assessed individually.

Cancelling your appointment

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment, your deposit may be carried over once to another eligible booking.

For cancellations within 48 hours, we may keep the deposit to cover the time set aside and the reasonable loss incurred by Mimi Lash & Brow.

If we cancel your appointment and we cannot agree on a suitable alternative, you may request a refund of your deposit.

Touch-ups and perfection sessions

Cosmetic tattoo touch-ups and perfection sessions follow the same rules for deposits, appointment changes, cancellations, lateness, missed appointments, and refunds.

We recommend arranging these visits early because appointment availability is not guaranteed. Where a deposit is required, the booking remains unconfirmed until it has been paid.

Any complimentary or discounted touch-up must take place within the period specified for that treatment. Bookings made or treatments completed outside that period may be charged at the current touch-up or colour-refresh price.

Eyelash extension appointments

Allowing enough time for your lashes

Please arrive on time so we can complete your consultation and lash application safely.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reduce the treatment time or arrange another appointment to avoid delaying other clients. Your deposit may be retained for the appointment time reserved.

We will accommodate late arrivals when reasonably possible, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

First-time clients should allow enough time to complete the necessary consultation and consent forms before their lash service begins.

Changing your appointment date

You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice when requesting a different date or time for an eyelash extension appointment.

If you provide that notice, your deposit may be transferred to a new booking once. You may need a further deposit for subsequent changes.

If you request a change with less than 24 hours’ notice, the existing deposit may be retained. A new deposit, based on the lash service selected, may be required to confirm another appointment.

Genuine emergencies, serious illness, and other exceptional situations may be considered individually at our discretion.

Cancelling a lash booking

When you cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment, your deposit may be transferred once to another eligible appointment.

If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, we may retain your deposit to cover the reserved time and the reasonable loss experienced by Mimi Lash & Brow.

If we cancel your booking and can't arrange a mutually suitable replacement, you may choose a deposit refund.

Lash infills and maintenance visits

The eyelash extension terms also apply to infills, including the relevant deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, missed-appointment, and refund conditions.

Please book maintenance appointments early, as we cannot guarantee availability. Any required deposit must be received before an infill booking is confirmed.

The price applicable to your visit depends on the condition of your extensions and how many remain when you attend. The current full-set or extended-infill rate may apply if too few extensions remain, more treatment time is needed, or the visit falls outside the specified infill period.

Missed appointments

An appointment is considered a no-show when you do not attend and have not notified us.

In these circumstances, Mimi Lash & Brow may retain the deposit for the time allocated to your booking. We may also decline subsequent bookings or ask for a new deposit appropriate to the requested service before accepting another appointment.

Health information and treatment suitability

Cosmetic eyebrow tattooing

We may defer or decline a cosmetic tattoo procedure if we reasonably consider it unsafe, medically unsuitable, or beyond the artist’s professional scope.

If information relevant to treatment safety or suitability was not disclosed before your visit, we may retain the deposit for the appointment time reserved.

Where a treatment cannot proceed because of something you could not reasonably have known or controlled, we will assess the circumstances when considering a deposit transfer or refund.

Eyelash extensions

A lash service may be postponed, adjusted, or declined if we reasonably believe it would be unsafe, unsuitable, or outside the technician’s professional scope.

Conditions such as an eye infection, inflammation, irritation, recent eye surgery, or other issues that affect treatment safety may prevent us from proceeding.

If you did not share relevant medical information before the appointment, we may retain the deposit for the reserved time.

If the reason treatment cannot proceed was outside your reasonable knowledge or control, we will consider the individual circumstances before deciding whether to transfer or refund your deposit.

Refunds and treatment outcomes

Payments are generally nonrefundable if you change your mind, have already received the service, or dislike the result solely as a matter of personal preference, provided the agreed treatment was delivered with due care and skill. Any deposit-transfer or refund options set out elsewhere in this policy remain applicable.

Cosmetic tattoo results

Healing and pigment retention differ from person to person. We cannot promise an exact healed shade, a particular degree of symmetry, a fixed level of pigment retention, or a guaranteed duration of results.

Once your brows have healed, we may recommend a perfection session or further treatment.

Eyelash extension results

Extension length varies by client. Your natural lash cycle, daily activities, skincare products, eye rubbing, contact with oils or moisture, medical conditions, and how closely you follow aftercare directions can affect retention.

For these reasons, we cannot guarantee that extensions will remain in place for a specific period.

If you notice an unexpected issue with your extensions, please contact us promptly so we can review the concern and consider a suitable solution.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy removes, limits, or changes your rights or available remedies under Australian Consumer Law.

Where a service does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, including the requirement to provide services with due care and skill, Mimi Lash & Brow will provide the remedy required by law.

Refunds and treatment outcomes

Our treatment prices may be updated periodically. We will take reasonable steps to make revised pricing available on our website.

The price agreed upon when you book will remain applicable unless you agree to a change in the treatment or service requested.
